DOZ began in March 21, 2011.
The Mission of the DOZ Project is to improve the quality and availability of business opportunities and long term investment goals for Kurdish people in Kurdish State.
The Purpose of the DOZ Project is to build a framework of community-based social and economical projects / programs across the Kurdish State and Middle East.
The Core Principles that guide the planning and activities of the Project include:
- A commitment to serve local people through creating gateways to their needs and safety by providing them work place and a freedom of choice.
- A commitment to the DOZ of Practice and Code of Ethics
- A commitment to establish inclusive community-based and statewide networks of courts, attorneys, service providers, guardianship professionals and volunteers, and other advocates who are engaged as stakeholders in an effort to develop effective partnership in Kurdish State.
The Goals that drive the DOZ Project work and activities are to:
- Support the continued development and implementation of the Standards and Ethics and use trained and supervised community volunteers as DOZ Team members.
- Organize and convene community-based key stakeholders groups to facilitate the strategic planning, development and implementation of business services projects / programs at targeted county pilot project sites in Kurdish State.
- Conduct an academic research / review of Kurdish State demographics, data, statutes, funding sources and the recommended best practices for business and investment services, standards, regulation and certification.
- Convene a multidisciplinary Indiana business and investment services issues & Needs State Task Force to support the development and provision of DOZ services across the Kurdish State.
- Provide educational opportunities on Business Development, Business Management, Personal Development and all other needs and practices.
- Increase national awareness of the DOZ Project and facilitate the participation of citizens of Kurdish State (Kurds, Turks, Iranians, Arabs etc..) at the national level.
